Towards Sustainability in Higher-Education Institutions: Analysis of Contributing Factors and Appropriate Strategies

To depict detailed sustainability efforts that have been implemented in campus environments, research was conducted at the Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), a leading green Indonesia. The aim of current study to explore how sustainable development has by UNDIP and identify factors may indicate existence activity higher-education institutions (HEIs). Factors affecting implementation HEIs were derived using bibliometric analysis. Information on strategies maintain obtained via closed questionnaire 40 relevant experts, analyzed strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) analysis, quantitative strategic-planning matrix (QSPM) Institutional commitment guidance implement found highest scores with regard internal external factors. respondents selected more aggressive for enhancement UNDIP. Fostering collaboration should be priority since this can provide mutual benefits significant improvement towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). provides robust self-assessment method selecting appropriate HEI sustainability.
